Joe Duffy vs. James Vick added to UFC 217 in NYC

One of the most anticipated fight cards of the year for the UFC is the yearly trip to Madison Square Garden in NYC. Last year they brought fireworks with Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez in a historic champ-champ situation. This year they are bringing two old school legends to battle over the middleweight title.

This morning the UFC announced another epic battle that will be showcased on the undercard.

Duffy (17-2) is currently on a two-fight win streak. He is one one of two fighters on the UFC roster who holds a win over the lightweight champion Conor McGregor. Duffy is looking to work his way up the rankings and secure another shot at McGregor, possible in front of an Irish crowd.

Vick (11-1) is a 30-year-old fighter out of Maryland. He is known for his strong standup. He is coming off a win over Marco Polo Reyes at UFC 211.
